How we take care of you after your accident
At Bonnar Accident Law our primary concern is the welfare of our clients and their families. We know that our main job is to win the maximum amount of compensation so that our client’s financial needs can be taken care of, but we recognise the importance of seeing that their future wellbeing is in good hands too.
In serious injury cases requiring extensive medical treatment and ongoing nursing care we arrange for an independent financial advisor to help the client and their family invest their compensation award. We will also set up the injured person’s care regime and ensure that their rehabilitation goes according to plan.
In one notable case, when we took over the claim, we immediately arranged for the injured person to be removed from a council care home and transferred to a specialist unit in a major hospital. The lack of specialist care was actually having an adverse affect on our client’s rapidly diminishing health and was causing her family great distress.
Our involvement extends to adapting the family home, selecting and advising on specialist living aids and depending on the need of family members, we can arrange for counselling and respite breaks.
In those tragic cases where someone has lost their life in a fatal accident or died from an industrial illness, we work very closely with the family to ensure that all the dependents are looked after and that everyone with a right to claim is involved in the process.
In those cases where family members are unaware of their rights to make a claim for the loss of a loved one, we will explain the options available and sympathetically deal with their questions and concerns.
Everyone at Bonnar Accident Law understands that each and every one of our clients has been injured or their health has been damaged. When we meet a client for the first time, we see a person who might still be in great pain and worried about the future and a family that needs support.
At this stage financial compensation is often of less concern than making as full a recovery as possible. In our expert hands the money will take of itself based on the severity of the injury and the circumstances of the injured person. What is crucial is the quality of care following the accident – and that goes for every accident, however minor it may be.
