"LIGHT UP A LIFE"

Since 1993, the fundraising team at St Andrew's Hospice has organised a very special event for families who wish to remember loved ones at Christmas time. A 30-foot Christmas tree in the hospice grounds is illuminated with over 1,000 lights - sponsored by family and friends.

In recent years the event has spread to encompass trees throughout the entire county of Lanarkshire, which brings in much needed revenue to help towards the £44,000 plus per week running costs of this vital facility.

St Andrew's Hospice provides palliative and end of life care for all people throughout Lanarkshire:

Airdrie, Bellshill, Biggar, Blantyre, Bonkle, Coatbridge, Cambuslang, Cumbernauld, Douglas, East Kilbride, Elvanfoot, Forth, Gowkthrapple, Hamilton, Kilsyth, Lanark, Larkhall, Lesmahagow, Motherwell, Quarter, Rutherglen, Uddingston, Shotts, Strahaven, Wishaw...

...AND ANYWHERE ELSE IN LANARKSHIRE WHERE THE  NEED FOR DIGNIFIED END OF LIFE CARE EXISTS.

Headway UK - the brain injury association

Bonnar Accident Law is very pleased to support local Headway groups and the vital work they do in helping brain injured people and their families cope with the challenges of day to day living.

Our Backofthenet football initiative has raised funds for Fife Headway Group and we have financed the production of a radio programme and on-air promotional material on behalf of Headway Glasgow. We are also active supporters of Headway in Lanarkshire.

Bonnar Accident Law was delighted to be the major sponsor of Headway's 2010 Christmas Draw - the firm donated a Corsa 1.2l Sxi and an ipod nano.

Bonnar Accident Law staff outside the firm's Airdrie office with Headway Scotland managers Gaille McCann and Catriona MacGregor launch the 2010 prize draw on 'Hats for Headway Day', 21st May.

Back of the net

Backofthenet is Bonnar Accident Law's football themed charity event which raises funds for St. Andrew's Hospice and Fife Headway Group.

Home advantage and a noisy, partisan crowd clearly played a major part in Airdrie Utd's narrow victory against the mighty Bonnar Accident Law 'All Star' penalty shoot out team.
